After having aged for 22 years in ex-bourbon barrels, the whisky has matured for an additional 3,5 years in this PX Sherry Barrel. Now serving his third and final life, this barrel has been used for making one of worlds finest whisky’s: The Macallan.
The whisky that has been maturing in this cask has been made back in 1995. That means the whisky has been distilled and aged in ex-bourbon barrels from that moment on. After 22 years, on the 28th of february 2017, the aged whisky has been filled into this ex-Sherry Pedro Ximenez Barrel for another 3,5 years of maturation.
In october 2020, after 3,5 years of maturing the now 25yo whisky, this barrel has been emptied, giving the world a wonderfull The Macallan whisky. Now this barrel can allmost retire. In december 2020 we’ve shredded the Barrel into little chips, giving you the oppurtinity to age your own liquor with this used Macallen whisky Barrel.
This Barrel has been used for storing Pedro Ximenez Sherry from Jerez, before it has been used for maturing The Macallan Whisky. It gives the whisky an extreme rich and intenste flavour

Now serving his final life, this barrel has been used for making a fine Speyside whisky: Aultmore.
The whisky that has been maturing in this cask has been made back in 2008. That means the whisky has been distilled and aged in refill Hogsheads from that moment on. After 8 years, on the 10th of septembre 2015, the aged whisky has been filled into this ex-Sherry Barrel for another 5+ years of maturation.
In novembre 2020, after 5+ years of maturing the now 12yo whisky, this barrel has been emptied, giving the world a wonderfull Aultmore whisky. Now this barrel can allmost retire. In march 2021 we’ve shredded the Barrel into little chips, giving you the oppurtinity to age your own liquor with this used Aultmore whisky Barrel.
This Barrel has been used for storing Sherry from Jerez, before it has been used for maturing Aultmore Whisky. It gives the whisky an extreme rich and intenste flavour.

Woodford Reserve has been matured in new, charred, white oak barrels of their own making. The barrel is a key ingredient in the process, contributing flavour, complexity, and balance. That’s why they craft, toast, and char bourbon barrels at their very own cooperage. After filling, barrels age in their unique heat-cycled warehouses until mature.

Now serving his final life, this former Jack Daniels Whiskey Barrel has been used for making a tropical rum from Jamaica: Appleton Estate.
Appleton Estate, deep in the middle of Jamaica’s Nassau Valley, began perfecting complex rum-making over 265 years ago. Surrounded by densely forested limestone hills, the region’s topography makes for a rum unlike any other. This former Jack Daniels whiskey barrel has been used to mature tropical Appleton Estate Rum.
